Abigail Marie Taylor was born at 1:00 pm Friday, December 2, 2005.

Weight: 6 lbs. 15 oz.
Height: 19.5 in.

Mother and baby are doing fine. We went in a 8:00 in the morning to be induced (the due date was last Sunday). She was already have contractions about five minutes apart, so at first all they did was broke her water. After an couple of hours of increasingly painful, though more sparatic contractions, they gave her a tiny dose of Pit.

After what seemed to me to be no more than an hour, she really felt like pushing and so I went to call the doctor. The doctor was working with another mother so a nurse came in just to find out where the baby was at and see if she could hold off till the other mother was done. Nope! . After pushing twice the baby was delivered by the assisting nurse! The doctor came in about 15 minutes later, somewhat sheepishly. The other lady was still pushing an hour later.
