Isaiah had a sleepover at Mom-mom's last night. The kids get to take turns so they can each spend the night by themselves. Mom-mom asked him where he wanted to have supper and he said Red Lobster (a favorite with all the kids). Mom-mom picked him up around 4 and they went to her house for awhile before going to the restaurant. When they got there, Isaiah didn't want to get out of the car and he was crying a little. Mom-mom asked him what's wrong and he said it was because he really just wanted to spend time at her house. So they got back in the car and Mom-mom cooked supper instead. I can understand that feeling of thinking your grandma's house is so special that you don't want to spend your precious time at some dumb restaurant. When they sat down to eat Isaiah said, "Mom-mom, do you get lonely eating by yourself every night?"
Well the next morning those two were up bright and early and guess what Bo-bo wanted to do: go to Cracker Barrel. (I guess restaurants are fun after all.) After eating eggs and bacon, Isaiah wanted to biscuits and gravy too.
Gloria is very excited because she gets to be the flower girl this Saturday in Chris' cousin Michal's wedding. I will post pictures afterward.
This has been a long week of waiting and jumping up every time the phone rings thinking it might be something about a job. But we haven't heard anything from anyone. We'll keep you posted. We've kept busy by packing and going through stuff to get rid of.
