Isaiah's Sermon Notes on Disciplining Children

I thought I’d pass this funny note on from this past Sunday. Leslie and I attended a new church this Sunday down in Louisville. The pastor is preaching through the book of Ephesians. That morning his text was on parents disciplining their children. Isaiah decided he was going to take notes on this sermon.

During the sermon the pastor used an illustration which demonstrated the attitude many people have toward children. Over lunch he heard two women complain about “how annoying children are.” This was pointed out to show how messed up our society’s attitudes are towards children.

Isaiah heard this and wrote down point number one: “how unineg children aer” (how annoying children are).

The second point Isaiah heard: “Dont DisiPlin Your children too much.”
